September will be the 40th anniversary of Ed’s start in the convenience store business. His background in operations, marketing, product development and foodservice has provided unique perspectives in developing new and innovative programs.

Ed works with Friendship Kitchens, bringing their new offer and stores to life. Ed honed his experience at industry-leading convenience store chains such as Wawa and Petro-Canada’s Neighbours and Super Stop. He then went on to found Burcher Consulting, a successful business that focused on improving results in Foodservice, Marketing and Operational areas.

Friendship Kitchens is the Retail division of Beck Suppliers. Beck is a family owned and operated business that includes wholesale distribution, construction and car wash. Today, Friendship operates 26 convenience stores across northern Ohio.
