Patrick Fitzmaurice, who will be the facilitator for this event, brings a long track record of innovative industry leadership in the marketing, sales and shopper/retail space. Along with other industry leaders he recently formed a new company, Caterpillar Farm, Inc., where he serves as ‘Head Farmer’/CEO. Caterpillar Farm is a change activation firm, advising companies operating in fast moving environments on how to quickly envision and activate organizational change to capture growth and beat competition.
Prior to Caterpillar Farm he was on the Executive Team at the Path to Purchase Institute, an EnsembleIQ company, where among other industry initiatives he drove the development and launch of the Institute’s Path to Purchase Leadership University, a training and professional development program for building knowledge and competencies around what Shopper Marketing is and what powers great shopper efforts.
Prior to the Institute, Fitzmaurice spent more than 10 years helping to build a boutique consulting firm, The Capre Group, helping leading companies like Hershey, Coca-Cola, J&J and other drive new organizational capabilities in the shopper and path-to-purchase space. And before joining the Capre Group in 2003, he held leadership roles at companies such as Unilever, Nielsen and Donnelley Marketing as well as in several successful startups, in addition to serving as president of the American Marketing Association in Georgia.
