Werner Graf is a 30+ year Consumer Products veteran whose career has been dedicated to improving the CPG industry. He started his career at Procter & Gamble in Manufacturing and Logistics, working in Health & Beauty, Paper, Food & Beverage and eventually the Laundry division. His wide functional expertise in supply chain took him to Ernst & Young where he spent 5 years consulting, eventually moving to the CPG Strategy Practice. From there, he moved to IBM where he was the Client Partner for a number of blue chip clients such as Hershey and Campbell Soup. His 11 year career at IBM launch him into a technical sales career and he has made a name in building successful startup CPG verticals for companies like Wipro, TCS and now Mindtree.
As global head of CPG for Mindtree, Werner has a unique vantage point to observe the market, the technology trends now shaping that market, and the threats CPG companies have to contend with as their Brands are under unprecedented assault. Werner is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and a participant in Tulane’s AB Freeman School of Business MBA program, and IBM’s Harvard Accelerated Business Leadership Program. He also serves on committees at the Grocers Manufacturing Association and is CGT’s newly named chair of the Research Advisory Board.
