Atopic dermatitis or eczema is one of the most common skin condition seen in pharmacy practice. Many of these patients are not reaching their optimal treatment targets. Many patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis have symptoms that significantly impact almost every aspect of their daily lives. This program will review the role of the pharmacist in ensuring that patients not reaching management targets are appropriately screened and considered for other treatments. It will also review the new advanced therapies that are currently indicated for the management of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
