Dr. Darin Cherniwchan has been offering travel health services for over 20 years. He provides both pre- and post-travel health care at the Fraser Valley Travel Clinic in the cities of Abbotsford and Chilliwack, BC. Dr. Cherniwchan is both a pharmacist (UBC 1987) and physician (McGill 1991). He completed his family practice residency in 1993 (UBC). He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians. He sits on several committees with the International Society of Travel Medicine, has been a member of British Columbia’s Drug Benefit Council and Judicial Council with the Provincial Court. He also is on Faculty at UBC (Faculty of Medicine) and the University of the Fraser Valley (Faculty of Health Sciences). He is an active Rotarian and board member of the Chilliwack Crime Prevention Society. He is married, has four adult children and recently became a grandfather!
