Diabetes is a progressive and often lifelong health condition which requires both patient engagement and self-monitoring. At this time there are approximately 11 million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes. There is a growing need for diabetes educators to assist in educating and supporting patients in managing their diabetes.
