Shaylin Kemmerling has worked in both the President’s Choice and LCBO cooking schools. She formally studied at the University of Guelph where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition. After obtaining her degree, she received culinary training in Germany. When she returned home, she completed a one-year internship at London Health Sciences obtaining her license as a Registered Dietitian. She has worked for several years as a Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Educator in Family Health Teams in both Chatham and Sarnia, Ontario. She transitioned into management and worked as the Manager of Food Services, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition at Bluewater Health Hospital in Sarnia, Ontario until 2017. She completed a Masters studies in Business Administration in Innovation Leadership with the University of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Shaylin now works exclusively as a Registered Dietitian and consultant, writing, guest speaking, and consulting on food and nutrition related topics and product development.
