Amy Taylor started with Red Bull in 1999, in the early days for the brand in the US. Her journey lead her to the key leadership position of Vice President, Marketing based in Santa Monica, CA where she led the brand’s overall strategic marketing and positioning in the US, working in partnership with the Global Headquarters in Fuschl, Austria. Amy and her team built up the brand marketing, sports marketing and culture marketing departments, and launched the US arm of a global endeavor, the Red Bull Media House, between 2007 and 2012. Together, they support the vision to “give wings to people and ideas.” Since 2013, Amy has taken on responsibility for the East Business Unit for Red Bull North America based in New York City as Executive Vice President/General Manager, reporting to the CEO. She is responsible for leadership across the brand and the business in that region: marketing, sales, distribution, operations, finance and human resources.
Previously, Amy held several positions at Red Bull, building the local face to a global brand. Before Red Bull, Amy logged six years in sports marketing, holding positions with the National Basketball Association’s Atlanta Hawks and producing events for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, among others.
Amy is a former Division I NCAA / USA Track and Field athlete and a current weekend warrior. She is an avid global traveler and a “professional appreciator” of many forms of creativity across art and music. She lives in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, among the local galleries and just blocks from Red Bull Arts, NYC. She serves on several advisory committees including selected start-ups and advocacy groups, with a focus on human rights and equality initiatives
