Dan Wagner is the Founder and CEO of Civis Analytics, a data science technology and advisory firm, working to democratize data science for all organizations.
Before founding Civis Analytics, Dan served as the Chief Analytics Officer on the 2012 Obama campaign, overseeing a 54-person team that provided analytics and technologies for voter contact, digital, paid media, fundraising and communication. His department’s work was credited with “reinventing how national campaigns are done.”
Prior to the campaign, Dan served as the Deputy Voter File Manager during the 2008 Iowa caucuses, and had several Targeting Director roles including the Great Lakes Targeting Desk, National Get Out the Vote (GOTV) and the Democratic National Committee.
Dan was named to the Aspen Institute's Henry Crown Fellowship in 2016. He received his degree in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
