The Retail and Consumer Goods Analytics Summit (RCAS) is looking for the next big idea in analytics, and to do so, we're conducting a contest to find the most innovative new start up in the space!
The Genesis Awards will give you a chance to demo your solution in front of this high-level live audience of 200+ key executives and compete for their votes. A winner will be crowned on-site at the event on April 25 based on results of the audience's real-time voting.
The Genesis Award Winner will receive editorial coverage in RIS News and CGT (combined print/online circulation 88,000+), a global press release, a trophy, attendance to and thought leadership session participation at the Retail & Consumer Goods Analytics Summit and electronic logo art and photos for promotional use.
Your attendance at the Summit will give you invaluable feedback, incredible exposure and important connections. Summit attendance is restricted to retailers, CG executives, sponsors and Genesis Awards finalists.
Step One: Submission (Deadline EXTENDED to March 16)
Submit your 90 second video consisting of a short demo or product pitch. A fee of $250 is required to enter.
Step Two: Share (Deadline March 23)
RIS/CGT will upload your video to a new public YouTube page. Share your video and collect “likes.”
Step Three: Move to the Next Round (Announcement April 2)
The judging panel will review and select the best concepts. PLUS, the top three with the most "likes" will automatically move to the next round.
The fee to move to the next round, once selected, is $5,000. The fee includes two registration passes for RCAS (a value of $15,000).Step Four: Go LIVE! (Presentations April 25-27)
The RCAS Analytics judging panel will assess each submission for its success as follows:
Does the solution fill a practical business need?
Will the solution to lead to real value?
Is the solution unique?
Is the solution innovative, creative or advanced?
Who Can Enter
In business less than three years
Operate as a stand-alone company
Annual revenue less than $5 million
Fewer than 50 employees
Secured no more than three rounds of funding of less than $10 million
Offer a solution that gathers, analyzes or uses data in a new way to gain insight, increase sales or reduce costs
