Emily Miller began her career in Walgreens store operations in 2002, as an intern in Colorado. She became a store manager in 2003 and was promoted to the Walgreens corporate office in 2005. Since that time she has held positions of increasing responsibility in category management. In her current role, Miller leads the growth and development of Walgreens’ $1.6B beverage business (soft drinks, waters, coffees, teas, juices, milk, isotonics and energy drinks). Miller’s pinnacle accomplishment is raising with her husband their twin five-year-old daughters whose level of curiosity, much to her surprise, has now surpassed her own. Miller, her husband Joe, daughters and two Springer Spaniels live in the far western suburbs.

She is humbled by her level of responsibility and will be ever grateful for the Walgreens employees and moreover the customers to whom she has the ability to serve daily.
